After breakfast, travel to St. Moritz for some free time to explore this famous alpine resort before boarding the Bernina Express, a historic train and UNESCO World Heritage route. Experience one of the most scenic train journeys in the world, winding through tunnels, alpine villages, and breathtaking landscapes, including the Bernina Pass. Upon arrival in Tirano, meet your driver for the transfer back to Milan. Overnight stay in Milan. (B)
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Milan at your own pace. In the afternoon, meet your local guide at the hotel for a three-hour walking tour through the city’s highlights. Visit Porta Venezia, stroll along Corso Venezia and Giardini Indro Montanelli, pass the GAM Modern Art Gallery, and see La Scala Opera House. Admire the stunning Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) and conclude at the Castello Sforzesco, a 15th-century fortress.
